January and February Fun

Fun for the kids with new Christmas presents

One evening Pierce went out to build a snowman. Graham was not in the mood, which is rare.  Pierce built it all by himself while it snowed on him.  He was so proud!

Then he built another one.

The next day, it was warm, and the boys had just as much fun destroying them as Pierce did building them.

Always a puzzle going at our house

Our next door neighbors moved in October.  With them gone, we do not have any other kids on our block.  Thankfully our boys are getting old enough to travel a little farther.  We have three families within three blocks, and the boys have been getting together with them most weekend days.

Another letter meal.  This one was A.

We love watching Tiger basketball games

Zach's 40th birthday

Zach turned 40 on February 26th.  Our friends, Ben and Megan live out of town and have a huge out building.  We asked if we could host his party out there.  It was perfect!

Tim surprised Zach and came from Atlanta for his 30th, so he decided he had to come for his 40th as well.  Huxley approved of Tim.

I ordered his cake from Red Bird Bakery in Doniphan.  We chose the Churro flavor.  It was phenomenal!!

Ben and Megan had a golf simulator that the guys had a lot of fun with

pickle shots

We played the most entertaining game of knockout.  Everyone was slipping and falling everywhere.

And beer pong

A few days later on his actual birthday, we went to Fuji with Zach's parents and grandparents.

Happy birthday, Zach!  Welcome to the 40 Club!  We love you!

Swimming

Pierce won back stroke

Graham won breast stroke

Pierce won freestyle

Graham won the breast stroke for his age division.  Scott Usher was from GI and went to the Olympics.  He was a breast stroker.  So, her gives out awards for up and coming breast stroke swimmers.

Swimming has been a great experience for our family.  It has been fun to see the boys excel at something brand new.
