Tigerette Breakfast

Monroe made the Tigerettes dance team for her sophomore year!

Soon after tryouts, we found out that her coach, who had only been there one year, was moving. The program has had a lot of turnover the last few years, and it felt like they needed consistency.
Enter me, someone with no dance experience, other than being a dance mom.  I applied to be the coach and was given the job.
Our first event was hosting rush breakfast at our house. They started by getting each girl out of bed.  Then they did a photo scavenger hunt around town.

I have A LOT to learn, but I hope to make this year a positive one for this wonder team of ladies.

Spring soccer

This spring's soccer season was kind of a weird one.  We had a few games postponed because of weather, which extended our season into June.
One of our goalies took the season off and the other plays baseball, so isn't always at our soccer games.  This meant that Pierce tried his hand at playing goalie.  He did well, but there is a lot to learn.  Graham also changed positions and played defense--probably to protect Pierce.  Most of my pictures are of Graham since Pierce was in goal.

Field Day

The boys had field day at school.  The afternoon started with cloud cover.  As soon as the clouds lifted, it was very hot.
Pierce and Graham love being competitive and active, so field day activities are a lot of fun for them.
In these pictures, Graham has black shorts and long green socks.  Pierce has blue shorts and shorter socks.
