State Fair 2015

We took many trips to the state fair this year.  The first day we went was Saturday.  We were going to have to pay admission because of the concert that night, so we decided to take Monroe earlier in the day.  It was CRAZY busy!  We had never seen so many people there.
She had to take a picture with her name.

The clydesdales were huge!

We were saving the rides for another day, so we rode the sky tram.

People everywhere

After a few hours, we took Monroe home to a babysitter and then came back for the concert.

I took my students on a field trip to the fair on Monday.  We had a great day with beautiful weather!

On Wednesday, Zach didn't have football practice, so we went out to ride rides.

Derek, Lea Ann, Troy, and Ashley met us there.
I had bbq nachos and fried cookie dough, which I had been waiting for.

We bought Monroe a wristband for the first time this year.

She found a few preschool friends while we were there.  This is Abby.

The Gator Coaster was her favorite.

This is Aiden.

They loved honking the horn.

On Friday, Zach's parents picked Monroe up from preschool and took her out to the fair again.  We met them there after school.

We had a lot of fun this year at the fair!

August Phone Dump

Monroe cut this up to share with her friends so that they all could go buy something :)

Karter and Jensen came and spent the day with us.

We were on our way to get ice cream, and we stopped and picked up Grace.  I'm glad I wasn't the one pulling these two.

Monroe has the best babysitter.  Usually she watches her in the evening.  This day she was watching her during the day, so she asked if she could bring some crafts.  They had so much fun!

Zach, Monroe, and I sang in church a few weeks ago.  When we practiced, Monroe did great, but when she was in front of the congregation, she got nervous and started crying.  I held her during the first chorus, and then she was fine. She sang right into the mic.  We sang Beautiful Things by Gungor.

One Saturday we went swimming with the Eickhoff's at Freddy's cousin's house.  The water was perfect!

Swinging with daycare friends.

Zach's cousin had a tennis tournament here in town.

Monroe finally got her first real haircut.  It doesn't look shorter, but it lays better and is healthier.
