Four Months

Graham and Pierce are four months old!

All my handsome guys

We love our walks

Both of the boys love the TV.  This is Graham straining to see the TV behind him.

Zach and Troy are three months apart and have known each other their whole lives.  Now, their babies are three months apart.

We finally got a picture of the two sets of Runcie twins.

Sitting in his new high chair
No, we're not doing food yet

I love that our scrawny newborns have become such chunky guys.  Graham is in the 73rd percentile for weight and Pierce is in the 65th.
They love baths, walks, and their big sister.  They smile, laugh and jabber all the time.  Their hands or toys are constantly in their mouths, and they drool all over everything.
We have been back at work for a month now.  Everything during the day has gone really well.  Hiring a nanny was the BEST decision.  We love her, and she loves our boys!  She is consistent, organized, and encouraging to us when we feel exhausted and insufficient.
Our nights have not been as smooth.  The boys seem to not want to sleep as much as they used to, at least not in their own beds.  We're not sure if it is the "four month sleep regression"  or if they just miss us.  They will sleep well in their rock n plays but not in their cribs.  For awhile we were trying nightly to get them in their beds.  Now, the need for sleep has won, and we let them sleep where they will sleep.  I may regret this later, but we're in survival mode right now.
I already hate pumping, but it is going well, and I have been able to stay ahead of the boys.
We have always loved weekends.  Since returning to work, though, it has become even more needed to have that time as a family.
Happy four month birthday, boys!

State Fair

Our family loves the State Fair.  We usually go 2-3 times each year.  This year, however, one time was all we got in.

The boys did great!  They ate well and took two naps while we were there.

The new bridge

After seeing all of the animals and eating supper, we headed to the rides.  We met Grace there.

The girls had a great time!
On the way out, we got fried cookie dough and some ice cream.
We love the fair!

August Phone Dump

Pancakes

Legos

We loved watching the Olympics this month!

On August 12th, Troy and Ashley added a baby girl to their family!  Quinn Elaine is perfect!

Quinn was 6 lbs 4oz.  Our boys were 6 lbs 6 oz and 6 lbs 2 oz.  It's hard to believe they were ever this small!

Monroe's second cousin, Parker, turned 1.  We had a fun day with family.

Monroe was wrestling with Zach's 18-year-old cousin, and he accidentally landed on her hand.  She cried a lot, but she could move her fingers, so we didn't take her to the doctor.  The next morning it was swollen and blue, so we went to Immediate Care for X-rays.

No breaks!  Yay!

Here's her hand two weeks later.  She is still favoring it and it has been a month.

Our staff on the first day of work

These letters were on Monroe's closet door.  I thought it was just gibberish, so I asked her what it said.  She said, "Welcome to the Grand Island Public Hospital.  Come in to the x-ray room."  I guess I should have known they weren't just random letters :)
