Zach's Tatto

Seven years ago I wrote a post about my mom's 60th birthday.  All of her kids planned something adventurous to do with her.  Zach and my mom planned to get tattoos together, but it took seven years for it to actually happen.

First day of school

Our first day of school was August 18th.  It was nice to have a later start date this year.
We were all so excited to have in-person school and be out of the house for awhile.  Wearing masks all day will take some getting used to, but we will gladly wear them if it means we're at school.
4th Grade

Zach moved to 8th grade math this year

I am looping with my students to 4th grade.  That means I get the same kids as last year, which will be great.  I have not taught 4th before, so that will be a learning experience.

4th grade together (but not in the same room)

Last week of summer adventures

I always try to make the last week of summer extra special before Zach and I report back to work.  We try to squeeze in activities we didn't get to or repeat our favorites.  During the last week we...
went to a Sodbusters game,

swam at our friends' pool,

did slip n slide with the neighbors,

had a picnic at the lake,

went golfing,

visited the museum,

and took some friends to the pool.

It was a fun last week, as always.
