Dance Recital

Monroe had her dance recital on April 28th.  She performed in four numbers.  The show started with a Daddy/daughter dance that was so much fun to watch!  Then she had tap, ballet, and jazz. We love watching her perform on stage.  She loves dance!

Omaha Zoo

A few weeks ago, we took a family trip to the Omaha Zoo.  I have heard that it is better to go in the spring or fall, but we had only ever been in the heat of summer.

There were people inside cleaning the tanks, which was interesting to see

It was amazing how tall the giraffes were when seen up close

 The new play area was a fun breaking spot

It was a fabulous day at the zoo!  I would highly recommend going when the weather is a little cooler.  We weren't worn out at the end like we normally are.
