Monroe had a piano recital and church Christmas program the same weekend.

She has learned to play in a bell choir this year.

After church, we went to Lochland for brunch and a visit to see Santa.

November Fun

Watching some Hastings Volleyball.  My friend, Amy, is one of the coaches.  They won this game and made it to state.

Walking to school with her friends

Bobo the Panther is in Monroe's class.  He comes home with each student for one weekend.  The child journals about their weekend from both their point of view and his.

We went out one night with Zach's brothers and their wives.  We realized we had never done this before.

Hawthorne has an awesome program called Panther lunch.  Each Friday two students get to go out to eat with a staff member.  Monroe got the honor to go this month.  She was so excited!

A fun project our class did for Veterans Day.

Burkle Thanksgiving

For the Burkle Thanksgiving, my parents hosted at their new house on Saturday.

We got our Christmas jammies early, so we took our annual picture.

Runcie Thanksgiving

For lunch on Thanksgiving day Monroe and I served food with the Salvation Army.  We were in charge of 'whip creaming' the desserts for people. Monroe loved it!  It was a great experience that I hope to do in the future.

Thanksgiving, that afternoon, was at our house.  We had gotten a lot of snow that day, so some family was not able to come.
