Monroe's 13th birthday

Monroe turned 13 on April 15th.  Amy's daughter, Londyn, turned 11 on the 10th.  For their birthdays we got their colors done.  (For those wondering, it's way cheaper for kids.)
Monroe is an autumn and Londyn is a summer
They are both the same season as their moms

In a cool color

In her wow colors

Monroe loved the whole process.  We were all surprised to find out she's an autumn.

I took her shopping afterward, and she found this outfit in two of her wow colors.
We do not plan to get rid of any of her clothes, but she was excited to realize how many autumn outfits she has already.

On her birthday we went out to dinner at Olive Garden.  Then we went home to do gifts and cake.

She didn't have much to open, so I wrapped up the outfit she picked.

She's going to live in this bathrobe

Happy birthday, Monroe!!

Pierce and Graham's music program

Pierce and Graham had a spring music program.  It was farm themed, but neither one wanted to dress up. They performed about 10 different songs, and did a dance.
Both boys had speaking parts

They also had the parents/older siblings join them for a dance.

March Fun

A beautiful day for some golf
Both boys wanted to hit over the water.
Pierce got it over on his first try

Graham got it on his 2nd try.
Not bad!

A French horn duet

Aunt LeaAnn played in an alumni tournament in Hastings.  She had quite the cheering section

The boys play with our neighbors almost daily.  They do the most creative things.  This activity was board game making.  They split into pairs, went to separate rooms, and spent two days each making up a board game.  Then they played each other's games.

Easter

A few days before Easter we started hiding empty Easter eggs in the yard.  I hid them the first time, and then the kids all took turns hiding and finding them with the neighbors.

Nana and Papa brought Easter baskets over

And then they stayed to dye eggs

On Easter, we drove to Lincoln.  This was the day after my birthday party, so we got there in time for dinner.
