Spiderman and skydiving

We went to Lincoln on Saturday for our nephew's third birthday party.  The party was fun.  The best part was that Spider Man came to visit Jensen.

When Jensen got closer, he wasn't so sure about him.

Monroe was scared but got close enough to give him knuckles.

Then, on Sunday we drove to Crete to watch my mom and sister skydive.  Because they were getting their dives video taped, they jumped separately.  My mom went first.  We waited at the landing site for about 20 minutes.  It takes a while for the plane to reach 10,000 feet. Then, we laid on our backs and watched as tiny dots appeared outside of the plane.  They were on their way down.  The first 5,000 feet is a free fall.  Then, they pull the cord and float the rest of the way down.

Mom and Jess had a great time.  Both said they would do it again.  Now, my mom can cross skydiving off her list!
