Trying to add some adventures into a low-key summer, we asked Zach's parents if we could borrow their tent to camp in our backyard. The tent sat in our garage for over a month because it was either too hot or rain was forecasted. Finally, the weather cooperated, and we set up the tent.

Zach slept inside, which I was totally fine with. It meant I got the air mattress to myself, instead of sharing it.
We all slept through the night. It was a cloudy morning, so we didn't wake with the first light, which was so nice. The kids loved the experience!
