Husker Volleyball Game

 

One Friday morning I got a text from a friend offering free Husker volleyball tickets.  We are huge NE Volleyball fans, but we have not been to a game before. I jumped at the opportunity and took Monroe.

So excited!

It was a fun evening.  We can't wait to go to another one.

First Day of 5th Grade

This girl is a 5th grader!  How is that possible?

It is my 16th year teaching.  I am back at 3rd grade this year.

Our boys started at a new preschool this fall. They were so excited!

It was Zach's first day of school as well. 

It's his third year in Hastings at the middle school and his 14th year overall.

Cold Heart, the musical

 We had a third theatrical production this summer.  Monroe wrote a musical with her two neighbor friends.  When they first started, the other mom and I didn't think it would amount to much.  We were quite wrong. They had a script, original songs, costumes, a set, invitations, a program, and a darn good show.  They performed it in the neighbors' back yard two separate nights.  We invited family and a few friends.
