I wanted to get a Jamochachino one day after school, but I knew that Monroe would want to share with me. So, I got her chocolate milk with whipped cream.

The Tri-City Storm hosted a GIPS night a couple weeks ago. Five Newell families headed to Kearney together to watch the game. Monroe enjoyed the game, but she liked stealing everyone's candy more.

When I got to school the other morning, one of the other third grade teachers classrooms was flooded. A pipe had burst and soaked her floor. A bunch of us teachers scrambled to clear out her room and save anything we could. Thankfully, there was little to no damage. It was an eventful start to the day. These pictures were taken after some of the water was sopped up and things were cleared out.
Easter morning
On the way back to Grand Island, Monroe fell asleep with her cracker in her hand.
