We had a week off for Spring break the first week of March. This year was weird because we didn't have travel plans like we usually do.
We did make a trip to Hastings to see family and friends.
Monroe reading Cale and Everett a bedtime story.
Papa was filling his hot tub, so it wasn't too hot. Monroe had a great time swimming in it.
That night we had dinner with family. Since, Monroe's second cousins ended up getting sick, she was the only little one. We all promised to play with her. That meant doing floor puzzles together.
On Tuesday morning, we met friends at the Children's Museum in Kearney. I surprised Monroe, and she was so excited!
We then went to eat at Culver's and did some shopping at Target and a few other stores.
On Wednesday, we had a picnic at Stolley Park.
On Thursday we took Monroe to Mikki's for a day with friends. She took the kids to see Zootopia. Monroe has not stopped talking about it since.
On Friday we went mini golfing with Troy and Ashley.
Hanging out at home
On Saturday we went to the horse races. We have been twice this year already and we haven't placed a bet yet. However, we should probably start betting on Monroe's horses because she tends to pick the first or second place horse each time.
Monroe's new trick
Zach led worship at church that Sunday. When Monroe saw him on the stage, she said, "Why is Daddy up there pretending to be that guy?"
We had a nice, relaxing spring break. We got a lot accomplished and are ready for the boys to come when they are ready.
