The last day of school this year meant Monroe and my last day as Newell Knights. I hadn't gotten emotional much at all leading up to the last day, so I knew it would hit me hard when it did. I did well until the last 15 minutes with my kids.
I had the best group this year, and I wasn't ready to see them go.
