Las Vegas

My brother-in-law, Rod, turned 40 in January, so he planned a Las Vegas trip to celebrate.  I had never been to Vegas, and Zach and I decided to go.

My brother, Zach, and his girlfriend, Megan, also came

First night at the casinos.  This buffalo game was the favorite of the weekend.

The next day, the guys went golfing and the girls lounged around.

Rod's cousins planned all of Rod's outfits for the trip.

Jess and Rod had rented a house that we all stayed at.  The back yard was awesome.
Then, we went and walked around the strip.
The chandelier bar (hard to capture how neat this was)

Rod is a big fan of the comedian Joe Koy.  Jess, Rod, Zach, and Megan had just been to one of his shows in Omaha.  So, Rod wanted to go to Joe Koy's restaurant, which was a noodle fondue place.  The food was awesome, and it was a really cool atmosphere.  As we were sitting there, all the sudden my sister starts freaking out, and we all realize that Joe Koy is there at his restaurant to eat with his family.  Zach and I don't know him, but it was a fun experience to meet him unexpectedly.

That night we went to Fremont Street

The next day, the guys went golfing again and we girls went shopping.
The guys got some really cool pictures while they were golfing.

It was a great first trip to Vegas.  Thank you to Jess and Rod for inviting us!
