In mid November we found out that the boys' teacher at daycare tested positive for Covid. The teachers wear masks but the kids do not, so the kids in her class had to quarantine. The boys were exposed on a Friday, but she didn't get tested until Tuesday. So, that left us with ten days to quarantine. This fell over Thanksgiving break, which was perfect for us. It meant fewer days we needed a sub. Also, we had been leaning toward not going to Thanksgiving gatherings. Being quarantined made the decision to not go for us.
One day we went on a walk to drop a snake off in a cornfield.
Once there, the boys explored the field. We were there for almost an hour, running around and picking up pieces of corn. They had a blast!
