Mother's Day

Mother's Day was low-key this year.  The boys were supposed to have a soccer game in Lincoln, and both Grandmas were going to be there.  Their game ended up getting postponed the day before.
I planted flowers in the morning.

Monroe had her last choir concert in the afternoon.  They sang a beautiful five movement piece with all of the choirs together. They also did awards.
The first award was given to the freshman who has made the biggest impact on the choir department. Monroe got it!
It was a wonderful surprise! Being new to the choir, we had no idea these awards were given.

We feel so blessed to be a part of this music department under this director!

After the concert, I went to a friend's daughter's graduation.

We all started teaching together before Lily was born.

Then we did dinner and cards on the deck - my favorite place.
