New House

I had intended to walk around the house and take empty pictures, but we never had the house empty.  So, I took pictures of it mostly furnished instead.

We bought a new patio furniture set that we are using as our dining room table for now.  Zach and Troy are building me a table.

The family room:  We have furniture picked out for this room, but we haven't committed to it yet.

The back hallway:  Laundry is to the left and a half bath is to the right.  I love the built-in shoe rack and coat hanger.

We are SO in love with our new house!

4th of July

 Monroe got to help Daddy light a few fireworks this year.

On the 3rd, we went to Dean and Brenda's house in Hastings for our annual barbecue.

 Dedrick, Josiah, and Monroe had fun in the water.

 When it got dark, we walked to the fireworks show.

Monroe thought the fireworks were too loud.  They didn't bother her the last two years, but this year she asked to go home.  

Once we put up her hood, she was okay.

On the 4th, we went and got red, white, and blue donuts. 

That night, we grilled out with Troy, Ashley, Mark, and Lisa.  Then, we went and watched the GI fireworks.  This time, the noise didn't bother Monroe because we were way father back.  

We had a wonderful time celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends.
