Valentine's Day

For Valentine's day this year we stayed home and had a fun dinner with the kids.  We had a fondue night, which we had never done before.  

Zach and I loved the cheese fondue.  The kids loved the veggies, steak, and bread, but didn't really like the cheese.

The chocolate fondue was a hit with everyone!

We dipped marshmallows, strawberries, pound cake, bananas, and Rice Krispies.

We will definitely do fondue again.  It was so fun!

PJ Masks Live

For Christmas, Nana and Papa got the kids tickets to PJ Masks Live

The kids absolutely loved the show!  It was a really fun evening.

Burkle Christmas

Megan and Karter played some Christmas music for us.

This year's food challenge was copy cat fast food.  You had to choose a fast food item to recreate.  We went with the Crunch Wrap Supreme.  It was perfect!  

 Unfortunately, we didn't think about the presentation :(

My parents made chili and frosties from Wendy's.  

Zach and Megan won with Mexifry nachos from Amigos.  They had an Amigos to-go bag with a real receipt stapled to it that said Mexifry nachos.

Jess was Aunt of the Year and played Harry Potter's Every flavor jelly bean with the kids.  It was hilarious!
