First half of March

My parents came to visit and brought the kids Valentines.

I saw this idea on Pinterest, and decided right away which one of our walls needed this.

I LOVE how it turned out!  It makes such a statement, and it cost less than $30.

I wonder if they know what other options there are...

Our boys got to go on a field trip with their daycare.  They sent these adorable pictures.

 

District Champs!  

We have had so much fun following the Hastings Tiger basketball team.  They were undefeated most of the season.  They made it to state, and we were so excited to cheer them on there.  Unfortunately, COVID-19 made its way to the US.  The boys were allowed to still play, but only immediate family was allowed in to watch in person.  We were so disappointed.  We did get to watch them on TV.  They lost in overtime.

Monroe and Nana made Harry Potter butter beer cupcakes.  They were seriously some of the best cupcakes I've ever eaten.

Zach's parents got us a fire pit for Christmas.  We got it set up, and we are really enjoying it in the evenings.

Zach's Birthday

For Zach's birthday, we went to Grand Island to eat at Texas Roadhouse with his parents.  Then, we came home to do gifts and dessert.  

I got Zach tickets to a Husker basketball game.  He and Troy went and had a great time.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's day this year we stayed home and had a fun dinner with the kids.  We had a fondue night, which we had never done before.  

Zach and I loved the cheese fondue.  The kids loved the veggies, steak, and bread, but didn't really like the cheese.

The chocolate fondue was a hit with everyone!

We dipped marshmallows, strawberries, pound cake, bananas, and Rice Krispies.

We will definitely do fondue again.  It was so fun!
