A Paw Patrol Truck

Monroe didn't ask for anything this year, so it was fun to surprise her.

A smart watch
She can take selfies, play music, play a few games, call us, etc.  The functions are limited, but it makes her feel like she has a phone like all her friends.

Santa didn't pay attention to the measurements of this when he built it.  We returned this one and ordered a taller one.

Watching Christmas Chronicles

Monroe's new game: Qwixx
We would definitely recommend this one.

That afternoon, we planned to go sledding with Dustin and Julie.  They were also in quarantine, but we decided being outside was okay.  Unfortunately, the snow was melting fast.  This hill was half snow half grass, but the kids had a blast!

Our three ended Christmas with a sleepover in the living room.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, our kids made their first snowman without parent help.

Normally we would have gotten together with family on Christmas Eve.  Unfortunately, Zach's parents got Covid the week before, and we were in quarantine because of being with them two days before their symptoms.
So, that evening, we made cookies from Santa.  Typically we make sugar cookies and frost them, but we decided to make peppermint cookies instead.

They created an assembly line.  Monroe made a ball, Graham dipped the ball in peppermint, and Pierce flattened it on the pan.

Meatball subs for supper

I told the kids to get their jammies on for a picture.  Pierce was ready and waiting :)
