I made it my goal this summer to update our landscaping in two areas that overwhelmed us. It was inexpensive because I didn't buy any new plants. I gave away many lilies and iris, and then I moved quite a few sedum.
We also changed out all of this edging so that it was uniform. A family came and took this off our hands. New edging:

We realized last year that our kids had never been to a rodeo. We had to remedy this. Unfortunately, the one we took them too was not great. We'll have to find another one and try again.
