The end of Kindergarten

Monroe's first year of school has come to an end.  It was crazy that she was going into kindergarten, but even crazier that she is done!  The day before the last day of school, they had kindergarten graduation.

Mother's Day

Monroe and I started the day flower shopping.  Normally, we do this ahead of time, but we hadn't gotten around to it.

Then we met a bunch of Zach's family at the interstate for dinner.

There are some special Mommies in thus group!

During the boys' afternoon nap, Monroe and I planted flowers.

Zach makes fun of me that my pots look the same every year.  I explain that you can't do much else when the pots are in full shade.  And, I love the way they look like, so why mess with a good thing?

We went to a graduation party that evening.
We got the cutest pictures on a swing

Girls' Weekend

On May 12th, I went to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw in concert with some of my closest friends.

The next morning three of us went down to the Haymarket to walk around and shop.  The farmer's market was going on, and it was so fun.  A lot of the booths were craft booths, which we loved.  It was the perfect weekend away!
