My Birthday

My birthday was on a Friday.  I cam home to this sign made by our neighbors.  

That night, we had plans with Zach's parents and our brother and sister-in-law.

The sushi was delicious!

Zach's parents made me a special dessert.  I LOVE Banana's Foster.  They made me a Banana's Foster dessert that was absolutely amazing!  I would rank it quite high on my list of top desserts.  

The next day we celebrated with the kids.

With the help from a friend of ours, Zach got me these two plant stands.

Mother Son Night

Lochland had a Mother Son Night in March.  The boys and I got dressed up to spend a fun night together.

This was our first year going, so we didn't know what to expect.  The night was full of activities planned just for boys.  They had a super hero theme.  The boys were given capes and masks.  They had tunnels to crawl through and a large pillow to jump on and do tricks onto.  On the dance floor they had a fun activity after every 2-3 songs.  They got to disable bombs (pop balloons), identify the super hero by their theme song, play musical chairs, play hot potato with kryptonite, have a push up contest, play limbo, and wrap the moms (bad guys) up in streamers.  In addition to all that, they had a dessert bar after supper that the boys went crazy for.  I was so impressed with the activities that were planned.  They boys had the time of their lives!
