4th of July

We had two celebrations for the 4th of July.  On the third, we went to Dean and Brenda's house for a BBQ.  A lot of Zach's family was there.  

After supper, the kids went swimming and ran through the sprinklers.

Right before dark, we walked to Lochland for their fireworks show.  They took longer than usual to get started, so we killed time taking pictures.

Finally, the show started!

 

It was a really good show this year.  We were all quite impressed, including Monroe.

On the fourth, we drove to Lincoln to my sister's house.  They had a bunch of people over to celebrate the day. Jess' friends Eric and Kelli love the 4th of July and buy a lot of fireworks.  Eric put on a good show for us.

The next day, we took the kids to the swimming pool.

We had a great 4th of July!  It was fun being with family and friends!
