Every other year for the kids' birthdays we take a small trip instead of having birthday parties. We hadn't been to the Omaha Zoo for four years, so the kids chose to go there.
It was a cool day, which was wonderful!

After the zoo, we went to the walking bridge. The last time we were there was five years ago. It was fun to find the pictures and compare them.
The next morning, after swimming, we went to the Gretna Outlets to do some school shopping.
It was a fun little get-away!
