We love bath time!

Zach and Monroe had some fun with goo one night.  I call it Oobleck.  He calls it non newtonian fluid.

Our best friends live in Hastings and have three young kids.  We get our families together, but we have not gone out just us adults in way too long.  We went to Odyssey in Hastings and had a wonderful time together!

Our next door neighbors had their granddaughter stay with them for a week.  Monroe and Jordyn played so well together!  It was fun having her over.

We had costume night at dance.  The girls tried on their recital costumes, and then we got to watch their practice.

Monroe and I played "can't touch the ground"  one morning.  I remember doing this all the time as a kid.

Landon got to come play one day after school.  These two miss each other!

Monroe and I went on a date to see Beauty and the Beast.  It was awesome!  She wanted a picture of our matching shoes.

My birthday

My birthday was on a Wednesday this year.  Zach and Monroe made me open my gifts before school.  Zach got me a bracelet and a massage.  Monroe got me some candy and a puzzle.

I took the next day off of work as a gift to myself and to finish the class I was taking.  

Monroe and I started our puzzle the next day, and we finished it two days.   I think she likes big puzzles as much as I do.

It was a great birthday!

Soccer

Monroe started indoor soccer this year.  She was excited and nervous because this was her first sport. We were excited to find out that Paisley was on the same team as her.  

Monroe absolutely loved soccer.  She looked forward to going, and was so bummed when the eight weeks was over.  She wants to play again in the future.
