Halloween

On Halloween day the boys wore their costumes to daycare.  They went trick-or-treating around the assisted living homes where their daycare is.  Monroe was dressed like what she wants to be when she grows up-a nurse for babies.  We stopped at Grandma Dee's on our way home.

After supper, we got dressed and went out.

The boys wanted to be PJ Masks.  Monroe agreed, so I found her a fun, fancy Owelet costume.

Then, we headed to North Shore where Zach's family was doing Trunk-or-Treat

I don't know what it is about Halloween, but I absolutely love it!  I love the dressing up and walking around the neighborhood.  It's one of my favorite days.

Murder Mystery Party

Zach and I got invited to a murder mystery party.  The theme was Great Gatsby.  We were sent our characters ahead of time, so that we could dress the part.

It was a really fun night getting to know a bunch of new couples and figuring out who the murderer was.  We look forward to next year!

Family Pictures

We got family pictures taken with the Runcie family, something we have never done before.  The trees at Hastings College were so beautiful the morning we went.  With eight kids and a photographer we'd never worked with before, my expectations were low.  I was pleasantly surprised with how the morning went and the beautiful shots he got.    I also had the CD 3 days later, which I couldn't believe.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

We went to Lincoln one weekend to spend time with my parents.  We had a gorgeous day to play outside.

My parents got a new ping pong table that we had so much fun playing on.  (We're actually thinking about getting one now.)
