Father's Day

For Father's Day, my sister hosted a pickle ball tournament for our family on their new court.

Doniphan Diabetes Dash #5

The Elsburys hosted the 5th Annual Doniphan Diabetes Dash this year.  It is such a fun event for a great cause.

Willy Wonka Kids - Pierce and Graham's musical

In April, Monroe auditioned for the HCT summer children's musical.  They ended up having 75 kids audition, so they added a second show for younger kids.  Even though the boys didn't audition, they wanted Pierce and Graham in the younger show.

Most of our family were out of town the weekend of their show, but thankfully Julie and her boys, and Zach and Megan came to watch them.

They loved being in it and say they are doing a show again next year.

Camping Trip

At the beginning of June, we went camping with my parents and Zach's parents.  We helped my parents rent a camper, like we had done last summer.  We met up at Platte River State Park.  

Zach was playing in a golf tournament late into the day, so I drove the kids there by myself.  It was the heaviest rain I'd ever driven in. I ended up pulling over at Lincoln, like most other drivers.  The water was pouring out of the downspouts at this gas station.

The boys remembered that they would be old enough to ride horses this summer, so we all decided to go.

The next day we went to the Wildlife Safari Park. I was pleasantly surprised by how many animals we saw.

Before leaving the next morning, the kids went fishing.

We had a great time with both sets of grandparents!
