Zach's parents, grandparents, and aunt and uncle took a vacation to Boston. Because they were going to be visiting so close to where Makenzie (our biological daughter) lives, I insisted that they go meet Makenzie and her parents. It took some convincing, but they finally agreed.
They met up at a farm. Makenzie warmed up to them quickly. She reminded all of them so much of Monroe.
According to all involved, it was a beautiful day! Both sides felt like their family expanded. We can't wait to meet Makenzie sometime soon.
