Middle School Volleyball

Monroe played 7th grade volleyball this fall.  

She was excited to be the A team libero.  The day before their first game, she was informed that she would be setting.  The team needed a 2nd setter, and she knew the game well enough to do it.  She was excited for the challenge, but wished she had more warning to practice setting before a game.

After a game or two of playing setter, Monroe decided she never wants to go back to libero.

Hastings played Westridge, so she got to play against two old friends, Paisley and Grace

This team was so fun to watch!  I coached these girls this winter.  It is amazing how far they've come since then, and it shows what daily practices can do.  

Monroe had a wonderful first school sports season.  We are so proud of her for taking on a new position and rocking it!  I love this game, and I love that she does too!
