This fall Pierce and Graham played another season of soccer. Zach decided to coach with a friend. In order to do that, though, we had to push the boys up a level. They turned 7 in May and played on an 8-9 team. This put them with quite a few 4th graders. It ended up being great for them. They didn't score as many goals as they were used to, but it challenged them. And, it gave them teammates they could pass to and rely on.
They also tried flag football for the first time. Although we had an athletic team, pulling flags, completing passes, and making clean hand offs were all harder than they expected. They learned a lot through out the season.
The boys had a fun season of soccer and football. Both were challenging and pushed them.
