4th of July Week

Monroe loved doing/watching fireworks.  The boys did well with them too.

Then, we lit off fireworks with them.

On the 3rd, Troy and Ashley came over.  We fire pitted, lit off some fireworks, and watched the neighborhood shows.  There were so many fireworks in our area.

For the 4th, we went to Zach's cousin's house in Hastings.

Zach, David, and Derek gave us a great firework show.  I didn't get any pictures, though, because it was way too loud for the boys.

First 4th of July

It was a fun week, but I'm glad the late, loud nights are over.

Swimming Lessons

I have not been overly pleased with our swimming lesson experiences the last two years, so I decided to sign Monroe up at a different pool by our house.  I am so glad I did.  Monroe learned so much and is now really swimming.  She loved going every day.

Monroe went down for a ring and accidentally did a front roll.  Then, she did it over and over again.

She has been going to Mikki's for five years.  They will definitely miss each other.

Zach surprised me by planning a night out with my girlfriends.  He had contacted them two weeks before and then kept on them until everyone could commit to a date.  We went out to dinner and ice cream.  I love my girls and my husband for planning it.

I did a meal prep workshop with some friends.  

I made ten meals to freeze

We have made two of the meals so far, and we have loved them both.

Patrick and Emily had their third son on the 28th.

Meet Jedediah James

Daddy took Monroe's training wheels off.  The next few days were rainy, so they haven't gotten a lot of practice.

We finally bought a double stroller.  You can't tell it in this picture, but the boys are almost completely laid back.  We love the stroller so far.
