A few years ago, Zach and I were watching the Tony Awards, when The Book of Mormon cast performed I Believe. We loved the humor and the idea of seeing the musical. When we found out that it was coming to Omaha, we knew we were going to go.
This weekend was the show. We dropped Monroe off in Lincoln and drove to Omaha for our weekend away.
Before the show, we went to dinner at M's Pub. Our entrees were both delicious, but the Creme Brulee was the best part.
We would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Then, we walked to the Orpheum Theater.
We were so excited.
From the moment the show started, we were laughing. There was seriously not a dull moment. If you don't know anything about the musical, it was written by the writers of South Park. It makes fun of the Mormon religion and any/everyone else it can make fun of. The humor was not exactly clean humor, but we went into the show knowing this. Not only was the show funny, but the acting, vocals, and music were amazing. We were blown away by it all!

After the show, we met up with the Fongs. They are good friends of ours from Hastings that we didn't know were going to be there. We went to Roja and talked and laughed about the show.
The next morning, we enjoyed sleeping in and taking our time getting back to being parents.
